Ideally one should adjust to new glasses by 3 days. In case this is not happening, there is an issue with the eyes or with the glasses. First is it the frame. Is the frame smaller than your previous one or there is a change from rectangular to circular? One needs to adjust to this change in the frame. How is the fitting is it loose or tight?
Second the centration of the lens on the eyes. Ideally the lens should be right in the centre of the cornea or the black round part of the eye. Many frames the centration can be rectified by adjusting the nose pads. But in some frames this is not possible and may need to be revised. Progressive lens may need to be adjusted, in these types of glasses, one should choose a frame with nose pads, preferably supra frames with the eye in the center of the lens. The person who is making the glasses should mark the center point on the lens.
Third one needs to give some time. Try the new glasses and try to adjust to the lens. However be careful while walking or working when using your new glasses because there may be difficulties unless you are fully accustomed to the new glasses.
If this is not getting rectified consult your eye doctor and they can check the centration, the fit, and the quality of the lens and if needed can ask the optician to rectify the lens.
