Age : 0 to 6 months
Babies should receive their first eye examination at the age of 6 months. Earlier if there are any concerning issues. |
Age : 3 years
A full eye examination should be done at this age. If there are signs of visual problems or recommended by the pediatrician see the eye doctor sooner. |
Age : 5 years
A full eye examination should be done at this age. |
Age : 6 to 18 years
Eye examination needs to be done every 2 years. If there are vision issues, like need to wear glasses, more frequent visits are needed. |
